About Team West

I've spent my career bringing clarity and structure to complex projects — first as an environmental manager for major infrastructure, and now as the founder of Seddon Digital, a web design and SEO agency based right here in Footscray.

Through my work at Seddon Digital, I speak with local business owners every day. I see how hard they work. I see the expertise they bring to their trades, their clinics, and their stores. But I also see how often they get drowned out online by bigger companies with massive advertising budgets.

I started Team West to change that.

But honestly, Team West started long before I registered the domain. It started in Yarraville Gardens, chatting with the most generous and interesting dog owners you will ever meet. It started when I found the health practitioners in this area — genuinely inclusive, genuinely skilled — who made a real difference for our family. It started when I saw the extraordinary diversity of families here, and the quiet, fierce community that has grown up around supporting our neurospicy kids.

This place gives back. The businesses here are run by our neighbours, our friends, the people who show up. Team West is my way of making sure they get seen.

We don't charge for listings, and you can't buy your way to the top of the page. Every business featured here has been invited or nominated because they do great work and stand behind it. When you know the story of the person behind the counter or in the work van, you aren't just buying a service. You are investing in your own community.

If you know a local business that deserves to be celebrated, I'd love to hear about them.
